PRIVATE EVENTS AT OZ ARTS NASHVILLE

Tucked away in West Nashville, OZ Arts is a contemporary space that has been designed to present cutting edge artistic programs and host the city’s most memorable events. Located in the former headquarters of CAO Cigars, this non-profit was founded by the Ozgener family. Academy-award winning actor, Tim Robbins, had this to say about OZ Arts, “There’s something really special here in that there’s art everywhere. Just the idea that someone could take a warehouse that was making cigars and turn it into an arts center is so inspiring. This is a pretty special place and I consider it an oasis.

Infinity Events & Catering provides services for private events at OZ Arts as well as their other venues The Bridge Building Event Spaces, The Bell Tower, 12th & Porter, and The Harding House.

HISTORY

Nashville’s Ozgener family brought unprecedented artistry to cigars, humidors and meerschaum pipes through their internationally renowned brand – C.A.O. The family sold their business in 2007, then converted the space into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit contemporary arts center called OZ Arts Nashville — it’s first show debuting in February 2014. Motivated by the healing and inspirational power of the arts along with desire, as a first-generation, Turkish-Armenian family, to inspire other immigrants — OZ Arts Nashville sets a high bar for quality.

International Contemporary Artists like Philip Glass, Tim Robbins, Laurie Anderson and Patti Smith have all had performances and/or exhibitions at OZ Arts. Local artists are also identified, cultivated and showcased at the facility through OZ Arts’ TNT series. Private rental events have been an important part of the nonprofits formula for sustainability — ranging from intimate weddings to concerts with Lady Antebellum and Georgia Florida Line.
